First, legendary director Martin Scorsese felt his canine actor Blackie was overlooked for a Golden Collar Nomination, now actor Antonio Banderas has pulled out the cat claws slighting Dog News Daily for not including felines. In an open letter in the Huffington Post, Banderas points out cats wear collars too! Banderas who voices Puss, in Dream Works “Puss In Boots”, believes that Puss could stand up against any dog on screen and should equally be considered for a Golden Collar Award.
